Long Island's premier academic medical center, Stony Brook Medicine, represents Stony Brook University's entire medical enterprise and integrates all of Stony Brook's health-related initiatives: education, research and patient care. The area surrounding Stony Brook offers excellent schools and wonderful recreational activities, including access to beaches, boating and the cultural wealth of New York City. POSITION DETAILS:
- Full-time inpatient GI hospitalist at Stony Brook University Hospital which is a 603-bed hospital and the only tertiary care center in Suffolk County, Long Island.
- 24 inpatient GI consult weeks (Monday-Friday only) per year.
- Minimal weekend and night coverage.
- Inpatient team includes gastroenterology fellows and advanced practice providers.
- No outpatient responsibilities.
- Ideal for work-life integration.
