Location: Stony Brook, New York Open Date: Jan 08, 2026 Deadline: Feb 08, 2026 at 11:59 PM Eastern Time Description: The Department of Surgery, Division of Vascular & Endovascular Surgery, at Stony Brook University, seeks a Physician Assistant. The PA will assist physicians in our clinics as needed, including History and Physical on patients, recording patient medical information into EMR, and writing progress notes. Coordinating pre-hospital evaluations for admissions and other aspects of hospital care with surgeons. Providing follow-up, post-operative/post-procedural care under the authority of the attending physician and coordinating discharge planning. Participating in the Hospital PICC team; which involves placing PICC lines, and Mid Lines. The selected candidate will be responsible for patient care and for teaching medical students, residents and fellows as well as students from other healthcare professions. This position serves as a health care professional who, under the direction and supervision of a licensed physician, provides health care to patients.
