Join our growing and supportive community-based clinic in Gloversville, NY dedicated to empowering individuals, children, and families throughout the Mohawk Valley region.
What We Offer:
- AI Documentation Support: We utilize advanced AI technology to streamline the note completion process, reducing time to nearly 5 minutes. Our integration of Eleos AI, designed specifically for behavioral health, enhances client engagement, streamlines documentation, and improves treatment outcomes, making your work as a therapist more impactful and efficient.
- Clinical and Educational Support: Paid supervision time, license reimbursement, educational reimbursement for CEUs and other training to maintain your LMSW, LCSW, LMHC
- Collaborative Environment: Work alongside on-site medical providers and a multidisciplinary team to deliver integrated, holistic care for clients.
- Flexible Scheduling: Enjoy a balanced work-life with a 40-hour work week, Monday to Friday, with hybrid availability during our operational hours (M-Th 8 am-6 pm, Fri 8 am-5 pm).
- NHSC/HRSA Approved Site for Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF): Eligible therapists can potentially have their federal student loans forgiven after making 120 qualifying payments in a qualifying position.
Your Role: As a clinical therapist, you will:
- Provide individual, family, and group therapy to clients aged 5 and older with mental health disorders and addictions.
- Develop personalized treatment plans in collaboration with medical providers.
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions.
- Maintain accurate electronic health records in compliance with OMH and OASAS requirements.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and provide crisis intervention and support as needed.
- Engage in ongoing professional development and supervision to ensure your growth and success.
Qualifications:
- New York State licensure (LMHC, LMSW, LCSW, LCSW-R preferred; MSW & MHC candidates will be considered)
- Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in mental health and/or addiction treatment
- Strong clinical skills and familiarity with DSM-5 mental health disorders and SUD
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine desire to help others
- Understanding of socio-economic factors affecting client care
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-focused environment
- Proficient computer skills and ability to use EHR
